The Journey

Bruny Island has long been a favourite island for Tasmanians to visit for day trips and getaways.  Tasmania’s fourth largest island is renowned internationally for its stunning natural landscape, flora, fauna and artisan produce.  Our Bruny Island circumnavigation cruise provides an opportunity to see the island in a whole different light.

For over 20 years, we have operated a three-hour wilderness cruise from Adventure Bay, exploring the coastline of South Bruny Island National Park.  This unique opportunity to cruise the entire Bruny Island coastline from Hobart will provide a memorable adventure.  It will take in elements of our award-winning cruise and extend it to include North Bruny Island, Cape Bruny and the D’Entrecasteaux Channel as we circumnavigate the island on this 100 nautical mile (190km) voyage.

Discover an ancient rugged and remote coastline of soaring cliffs, sea stacks, wave carved sea caves, stunning bays, beaches, waterfalls and blowholes.  Search for abundant wildlife including seals, dolphins and a myriad of seabirds.  Keep an eye out for migrating whales at this time of year.

Watch for key landmarks including: Fluted Cape, Cape Bruny Lighthouse, Cloudy Bay, Adventure Bay, Satellite Island, Partridge Island, The Friars, The Monument, Breathing Rock, Isthmus Bay.

Enjoy a relaxing lunch stop mid journey at our beachside restaurant at Adventure Bay. Specialising in premium Tasmanian fish, your hearty lunch will satisfy the hunger that comes from cruising the Southern Ocean.
